Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has issued notices to Congress party members for sharing clips from Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent Rajya Sabha speech. The platform cited a request from the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, alleging that the shared content violated Indian law.
The controversy centers on a video segment from Shah’s address during the Constitution’s 75th-anniversary debate, where he criticized the Congress’s stance on reservations and referenced B.R. Ambedkar. Congress leaders accused Shah of disrespecting Ambedkar and demanded an apology.
In response, Shah held a press conference accusing Congress of distorting his remarks for political gain. He emphasized that his statements were misrepresented and that the opposition’s campaign was misleading.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also weighed in, criticizing Congress for its actions and listing past instances where the party allegedly disrespected Ambedkar.
This incident highlights the ongoing tensions between the ruling party and the opposition, with social media platforms becoming battlegrounds for political discourse.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी इस पर प्रतिक्रिया दी और कांग्रेस की आलोचना की। उन्होंने कांग्रेस पर अंबेडकर का अपमान करने के पुराने मामलों का भी जिक्र किया।
