The allegations revolve around claims of impropriety, which Pawar dismissed as baseless political tactics. Speaking at a rally, he emphasized the BJP’s strategy of attacking opposition leaders instead of addressing pressing state issues like unemployment and inflation.
Supriya Sule, leading the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP, has faced increased scrutiny following a split in the party led by her cousin Ajit Pawar, who aligned with the BJP. Sule countered the allegations, stating her commitment to public service and challenging BJP leaders to engage in constructive debates on governance.
The election has seen a heated battle between factions, with the NCP divided and the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance defending its governance record. As campaigning intensifies, leaders across parties are focusing on mobilizing voter support.
