Wrestling star Sakshi Malik recently claimed that Babita Phogat urged wrestlers to protest against Brij Bhushan Singh, the former president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). According to Sakshi, Babita and another leader, Teerath Rana, allegedly encouraged the wrestlers during the protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. This accusation was strongly denied by Babita, who clarified that the documents supporting these claims did not have her signature. Babita countered by accusing the wrestlers of being manipulated for political gains.
This controversy arose amidst ongoing legal battles against Brij Bhushan, who faced sexual harassment allegations from several female wrestlers. Despite these serious charges, Babita has taken an active role in government investigations, adding to the already heated dispute among India’s top wrestlers.

यह विवाद उस समय उभरा जब बृजभूषण सिंह पर महिला पहलवानों ने यौन उत्पीड़न के गंभीर आरोप लगाए थे। बबीता अब इस मामले की सरकारी जांच समिति का हिस्सा हैं, जिससे यह मामला और गर्मा गया है।
