Tamil superstar Vijay recently extended his best wishes to the team of “Baby John,” the Hindi adaptation of his 2016 film “Theri.” Taking to social media, Vijay expressed his hope for the film’s success, stating, “Wishing you a blockbuster success.”
“Baby John,” starring Varun Dhawan and produced by Atlee, has sparked discussions about its connection to “Theri.” Varun clarified that the film is an adaptation rather than a direct remake, noting that significant changes were made to suit a different audience. He emphasized that those expecting a scene-by-scene remake might be disappointed, as “Baby John” offers a fresh perspective on the original narrative.
Producer Atlee highlighted the enduring relevance of the film’s message, suggesting that the themes explored in “Theri” continue to resonate today.
“Baby John” is set to release in theaters this Christmas, featuring performances by Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff, with a special cameo by Salman Khan.

‘बेबी जॉन’, जिसमें वरुण धवन मुख्य भूमिका में हैं और निर्माता एटली हैं, इसे ‘थेरी’ का रीमेक ना कहकर रूपांतरण बताया जा रहा है। वरुण ने स्पष्ट किया कि फिल्म में कई बदलाव किए गए हैं ताकि इसे अलग दर्शकों के लिए उपयुक्त बनाया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा, “जो लोग सीन-दर-सीन रीमेक की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं, वे निराश हो सकते हैं।”
