Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred the 18th installment of ₹2,000 to over 9.4 crore farmers’ bank accounts under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This amounts to more than ₹20,000 crore in financial assistance. The installment was released during a special event in Maharashtra, marking a significant relief for farmers. New registrations for the scheme have also commenced, allowing more farmers to benefit from the program. Eligible farmers can check their payment status via the official PM Kisan website.
