The initial public offering (IPO) of KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration Ltd experienced an impressive response, becoming fully subscribed within just the first 30 minutes of its launch on September 25, 2024. The IPO aims to raise ₹342 crore, with bids already surpassing the number of available shares. By 10:39 AM, the company received bids for over 3.4 million shares against 1.1 million shares offered, translating to a 3.10 times subscription rate.
Non-institutional investors displayed significant interest, with their portion being oversubscribed by 6.29 times. Retail investors also showed enthusiasm, subscribing 3.46 times their allotted shares. Prior to the IPO, KRN Heat Exchanger secured ₹100 crore from anchor investors.
The price band for the shares is set between ₹209 and ₹220, and the IPO will remain open for public subscription until September 27, 2024. The proceeds from the offering will primarily fund a new manufacturing facility in Rajasthan.
