Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent visit to the US, accusing him of tarnishing India’s image abroad. Chouhan stated that Gandhi’s remarks during his trip, which included criticism of India’s leadership and economic direction, were harmful to the nation. He described this behavior as “anti-national” and equated it to treason.
Chouhan highlighted that, as a leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi holds responsibility for representing the country positively on foreign soil. He claimed that Gandhi’s frustration from recent electoral defeats had led him to speak negatively about India. Chouhan also defended the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), praising its efforts in nation-building, and countered Gandhi’s claims regarding India’s dependence on Chinese imports by asserting India’s growing self-reliance.
The minister emphasized that national interest should come before political differences when abroad, citing former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as an example of how leaders should present a united front for the country.

केंद्रीय मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी के हालिया अमेरिका दौरे पर कड़ी प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त की है। चौहान ने कहा कि इस दौरे के दौरान राहुल गांधी द्वारा भारत के नेतृत्व और आर्थिक दिशा पर की गई आलोचना देश की छवि को नुकसान पहुंचाती है। उन्होंने इसे ‘राष्ट्रविरोधी’ करार दिया और इसे राष्ट्रद्रोह के समान बताया।
चौहान ने कहा कि एक विपक्षी नेता के रूप में राहुल गांधी की जिम्मेदारी है कि वह विदेश में देश की सकारात्मक छवि पेश करें। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि चुनावी हार से निराश होकर राहुल गांधी ने देश के खिलाफ बयान दिए। चौहान ने राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (RSS) का बचाव करते हुए इसके राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान की सराहना की और राहुल गांधी द्वारा चीन से आयात पर दिए गए बयानों का विरोध करते हुए कहा कि भारत आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में बढ़ रहा है।
चौहान ने यह भी कहा कि विदेश में राजनीतिक मतभेदों को भूलकर देशहित को प्राथमिकता देनी चाहिए। उन्होंने पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि कैसे उन्होंने देश की एकजुट छवि प्रस्तुत की थी।
