The festival of Shardiya Navratri has begun with great devotion and enthusiasm this year. Temples across the country are beautifully adorned with vibrant flowers, creating a divine ambiance for worship. Temple administrations have made special arrangements, including barricading, to manage the crowd of devotees smoothly. In Uttarakhand, at the Maa Jiya Rani temple, along with other major temples, devotees have already started gathering for prayers.
To ensure safety, COVID-19 protocols are being followed, and some temples have implemented a token system for orderly visits. Shardiya Navratri celebrates the worship of Goddess Durga in her nine divine forms over the course of nine days. Alongside the rituals, cultural events such as bhajans, kirtans, and Ramlila performances are being held across the country.

शारदीय नवरात्रि का पर्व इस साल भक्ति और उमंग से शुरू हो चुका है। मंदिरों में मां दुर्गा के दरबार को रंग-बिरंगे फूलों से सजाया गया है। भक्तों की सुविधा के लिए मंदिर प्रशासन ने विशेष इंतजाम किए हैं। प्रमुख मंदिरों में बैरिकेडिंग की गई है ताकि भीड़ को नियंत्रित किया जा सके और दर्शन सुचारू रूप से हो सकें। उत्तराखंड में मां जिया रानी के मंदिर समेत देशभर के विभिन्न मंदिरों में श्रद्धालु पूजा-अर्चना के लिए जुट रहे हैं।
श्रद्धालुओं को कोविड-19 के सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन करते हुए दर्शन की व्यवस्था की गई है, साथ ही कई जगहों पर दर्शन के लिए पर्ची प्रणाली भी लागू की गई है। मां दुर्गा के नौ रूपों की पूजा के साथ यह पर्व नौ दिनों तक धूमधाम से मनाया जाएगा, जिसमें भजन-कीर्तन और रामलीला जैसे धार्मिक आयोजन भी शामिल होंगे।
