Reliance Power, led by Anil Ambani, recently announced plans to raise ₹4,200 crore through Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs). This move is aimed at supporting the company’s financial growth, coming after significant positive developments. The company settled a ₹3,872 crore guarantee related to Vidarbha Industries Power, and now reports being debt-free from banks and financial institutions.
The bonds will carry a low annual interest rate of 5% and will have a 10-year maturity. Alongside this, Reliance Power has introduced an Employee Stock Option Scheme (ESOS) to benefit its employees.
Since the news of the FCCBs was released, Reliance Power’s shares have seen notable fluctuations. Despite a brief dip, the stock has shown recovery, reflecting investor optimism about the company’s future prospects. This fundraising plan is expected to further enhance the company’s financial stability and growth trajectory.

यह बांड्स 5% की कम वार्षिक ब्याज दर के साथ आएंगे और इनकी अवधि 10 साल की होगी। साथ ही, कंपनी ने अपने कर्मचारियों के लाभ के लिए एक कर्मचारी स्टॉक विकल्प योजना (ESOS) भी पेश की है।
FCCBs की घोषणा के बाद, रिलायंस पावर के शेयरों में उतार-चढ़ाव देखने को मिला, लेकिन कंपनी की भविष्य की संभावनाओं के प्रति निवेशकों के सकारात्मक रुख के कारण शेयरों में सुधार भी हुआ है। इस फंडरेजिंग योजना से कंपनी की वित्तीय स्थिरता और विकास की दिशा में और मजबूती आएगी।
