On September 30, the company’s board approved a 1:10 stock split, meaning each existing ₹10 share will be divided into ten ₹1 shares. This move aims to enhance liquidity and make the shares more accessible to retail investors. Following this announcement, the stock traded at ₹177.95, marking a substantial increase over recent months.
Additionally, the company plans to raise ₹646 crore through a preferential allotment of convertible warrants to two promoter group entities. This involves issuing 11.5 crore warrants at ₹56.20 each, which are convertible into equity shares.
This funding will support the company’s growth initiatives, as PC Jeweller has experienced a remarkable price surge of over 563% in the past year.
