
Italy pulled off a remarkable 3-1 victory over France in the UEFA Nations League, overcoming an early setback to secure the win. France got off to a flying start, scoring just 13 seconds into the match through Bradley Barcola after an error by Italian defender Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
Italy equalized in the 30th minute when Federico Dimarco struck a brilliant volley, set up by Sandro Tonali. In the second half, Davide Frattesi gave Italy the lead with a composed finish in the 51st minute after a counterattack. Giacomo Raspadori then sealed the game with a third goal in the 74th minute, taking advantage of a pass from Destiny Udogie.
Despite the early pressure from France, Italy maintained composure and executed a well-structured comeback, earning three crucial points in Group A2 of the competition.
