Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has penalized 332 students for cheating during the Summer 2024 exams. After scrutiny, nine students were cleared, while 186 students received the most severe penalty, which includes canceling all exam results and barring them from the next exam. Another 100 students had their current semester results canceled, and 41 were declared failed in specific exams. A few students faced even harsher penalties, including multi-semester debarment.
