Netflix’s upcoming crime thriller Sector 36, starring Vikrant Massey, is inspired by the infamous 2006 Nithari killings. Massey plays a serial killer based on Surinder Koli, who, along with his employer Moninder Singh Pandher, was accused of abducting and murdering children in Noida. Koli allegedly lured kids with sweets, killed them, and engaged in cannibalistic acts. Though sentenced to death, both men were acquitted in 2023 due to insufficient evidence.
