President Droupadi Murmu also marked the day by attending celebrations in Dehradun, the first time a sitting President has joined these festivities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes, commending Uttarakhand’s contribution to India’s cultural richness. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also praised the state’s achievements under Dhami’s leadership, especially in tourism and development.
